We’re so excited to announce this year’s ‘Happily Ever After’ Writing Week! Whether you’re participating in NaNoWriMo or you’re just hoping to start a new routine, HEA Writing Week will get you into the swing of things.
From Monday October 30th to Friday November 3rd, we want to help you write your Happily-Ever-After with five days of writing craft tips, activities, and advice from our editors via the Write for Harlequin Newsletter, Blog, and Facebook Community!
Each day, a newsletter will arrive to your inbox with themed blog content and activities to keep you on track to complete your writing goals. Then you can head over to the Write for Harlequin Facebook Community to chat with other writers about your progress!
Stay tuned for the official kick-off on Monday October 30th, and make sure to subscribe to the newsletter and join the Facebook Community before the festivities begin!
Mark your calendars and check the schedule below for the full week’s programing:
All about the Live Events:
Editor Q&A – Calling Romance Writers!
Join Harlequin editors Emma Cole and Caroline Timmings for an Editor Q&A on Nov. 1, 1-2 pm EST. Ask your questions about writing and editing a romance novel. Get advice on how to submit your work and what to expect when you do.
This event will be held in the Write for Harlequin group on Facebook. If you’re not already a member, you’ll need to join the group first and then join the Editor Q&A. You can submit questions in advance if you can’t attend at 1 pm. We welcome all romance writers to join us!
Writing Sprint Event –
Join Harlequin events manager Carol Dunsmore to close out writing week with a Writing Sprint Event on Nov. 3, 1-2 PM EST. This guided, live-streamed event will give you the chance to share your writing goals with other writers and put pen to paper on your current work in progress.
This event will be held on Zoom, and you can register for the event now here!
