Update: RIY Mentorship Submission Window Closes
Thank you to all aspiring romance writers who made a submission to the Romance Includes You Mentorship. Harlequin received over 160 submissions and we’re thrilled with the response from writers!
All eligible submissions will be reviewed by Harlequin editors based on the writing quality of the submission, creativity of the story and romantic element, and interest and commitment in writing a series romance novel.
A shortlist of submissions will be presented to a final judging panel later this fall. We hope to announce a winning candidate in early 2020 to start the one-year mentorship as quickly as possible after that.
Submissions were accepted from September 1 to October 15, 2019.
