After 20 years of whisking readers away in stories for Harlequin Presents, author Chantelle Shaw is stepping away from her writing desk to spend more time with her family. She has more than 40 Harlequin titles to her credit and is known for her steamy jet-set romances in glamorous spots around the world.
If her characters weren’t being romanced on the Italian Riviera or averting baby scandals in Greece, then they were claiming brides in Spain or becoming a billionaire’s mistress in Brazil. And that was just the start!

From the Author:
In 2005, I had the honor of being signed by Harlequin to write for the Presents line. Now, twenty years and forty-nine published books later, I have decided to retire so that I can spend more time with my grandchildren (five to date, and another on the way)! It has been an amazing two decades, and I have been privileged to work with some wonderful editors and meet many fantastic authors.
My final book, Penniless Cinderella for the Greek, was released in 2023, and I really enjoyed writing about celebrity chef Dimitris and food photographer Savannah’s journey to happy ever after.
Although I am sad to say goodbye, I am excited for the next chapter of my life here in the UK, and many trips to Perth, WA to visit my growing family. I fell in love with romantic fiction as a teenager (a scarily long time ago) and I will continue to read Presents and be whisked away to glamorous locations by the talented authors who write them.
