We are excited to announce the finalists for Harlequin’s 2024 Romance Includes You Mentorship. Ten finalists were selected from among 150 submissions that were reviewed by Harlequin’s mentorship team.
“It was a pleasure to read every submission and it was obvious that writers put a great deal of effort, creativity and joy into writing their stories. We appreciated the positive response from romance writers and we thank everyone for letting us read their excellent work,” said Carol Dunsmore, Harlequin’s Author Communications and Events Manager.

- The Road to You and Me by Vi Riley

- Reunited with the Marshal by Simone Sims
The top submission will be announced on WriteforHarlequin.com. The writer of the top submission will be offered a publishing contract for their debut novel, a writing grant, and the chance to work with a Harlequin editor to develop their romance story for publication during a one-year mentorship.
The Romance Includes You Mentorship supports increased diversity in the romance genre by welcoming submissions by authors in underrepresented communities. Background on the mentorship initiative and submission process is available on the Write for Harlequin website.
