The Debt was supposed to start with my hero, Ash Evan, feeling uncertain as he stood outside the Billionaires Club, dressed in a tux with a coveted invite in his hand. Except that’s not what happened. Ash Evan stormed into my book sans tux, dressed in jeans and a leather jacket, not uncertain in any way but absolutely furious. And from them on, as is often the case with my heroes, he was basically impossible to wrangle. Damn alpha males. Luckily my heroine appeared, right on target, cheerful and cheeky as his chauffeur, and with exactly zero patience for his grumpiness. Most billionaires need taking down a peg or two, and Ellie takes Ash down approximately ten thousand. Good thing he enjoyed every second of his fall and I hope you enjoy reading it! 🙂

It was so much fun to work with Jackie Ashenden to figure out what happened between our heroes! And then deliciously cool to take my characters on their dark, hot little fantasy tour. I also really, really enjoyed writing about a ballet dancer as I planned to become one myself—when I was seven. I hope readers love this continuity as much as I do!

Writing The Proposition was so much fun. I’ve wanted to write a story with an older heroine and younger hero for a while, so I was delighted when this opportunity came along. This was also my first time writing a story that connected with other’s—a new experience, but one I enjoyed. My hero, Cam, is in many ways, an average Aussie bloke. He’s been thrust into a world of immense wealth, and he’s struggling to come to terms with his inheritance. Enter Orla, a self-made woman with a sexy proposition! I love the juxtaposition of taking these two on a journey to glamorous locations, but also bringing them back to earth, in order to learn what’s truly important to them—the simple things, love and each other. There is sooo much to love about The Billionaires Club series. Each book is filled with glamour, glitz, wealth, prestige and all that sexy, hot angst we look for in our DAREs! As for my book, THE DEAL, I loved writing this story. Imogen, the heroine of my book in the quartet, is one of the characters I’ve most enjoyed writing. She’s super bright, kind, with a heart of gold that she keeps buried deep inside but her determination to fix the world is really lovely. And seriously, if anyone can do it, it’s Imogen. As for the hero of THE DEAL, Nicholas Rothsmore, he’s all swoon-worthy British aristocrat, badly burned by a previous relationship and determined to live footloose and fancy free, far away from the shackles of his family obligations and expectations. The book starts with Imogen and Nicholas enjoying a secret, prohibited, masked encounter. Sparks fly, and things really heat up… This is the first ‘masquerade’ book I’ve ever written and it definitely won’t be my last. The chapter where Nicholas discovers the identity of the sexy stranger he enjoyed the best sex of his life with was so much fun to write! I hope you love Imogen and Nicholas’s story as much as I loved writing it.
